California Advisors Can Now Use the CRC® Certification
The California Insurance Code now defines the CRC® certification as exempt from rules limiting the use of a “senior certification.” In practical terms, that means CRC® certificants are free to use their CRC® certification in their communications with the public (assuming an advisor’s internal compliance department also approves such usage). With this new exemption, the CRC® certification can now be used in all 50 states! More information about the California decision can be found here.

InFRE Partners with Texas Tech University on Retirement Career Guide
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) indicates financial advisors will be one of the fastest growing professions in the next decade with a projected growth rate of 30%, much higher than the average for all occupations. Many financial advisors work directly or indirectly with the retirement industry. Now more than ever, the retirement industry has tremendous growth prospects and willing employers who are eager to offer internships and employment opportunities to college students upon graduation.
InFRE, in partnership with Texas Tech University, developed a career guide to raise the awareness of potential opportunities that exist for college graduates in the retirement industry. The career guide is still being refined and we need to collect additional data so we can describe different career opportunities. We need your insights and input by filling out the Retirement Careers survey below. Please submit your completed survey by December 20th close of business.
