It then describes various certifications and designations available to retirement-industry professionals.

The heart of this career-planning resource is its comprehensive, easy-to-read job descriptions for college students interested in working in the retirement industry. The Guide identifies retirement positions in the retail, institutional and employer-sponsored plan markets. Each job description includes a potential career path and a detailed list of key skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in a particular retirement career based on job analysis research conducted by Texas Tech University.
