This course is the second course in the CRC® program, and is now
available for continuing education credit*. It presents an in-depth coverage of the
basic concepts needed to assist employees and clients in investing for long-term
retirement goals.
Topics include: basic investment instruments including stocks, bonds, cash
and cash equivalents, mutual funds, preferred stock, guaranteed investment
contracts, stable value funds, annuities, and real estate; risk and return concepts;
managing risk through diversification and asset allocation; fees associated with
investment instruments; the economy and market environment; and how to find
investment-related information.
